  • What does Crowdfunding Mean?
Collective financing describes the simple and powerful act of raising money online for various campaigns, such as philanthropy, culture, NGOs, charity, small businesses, activism, arts, and games. It is, in one way, a type of Social funding
  • Why iCrowdfunding?
Often, innovative and high-quality ideas, which could change our lives, do not go forward due to the lack of sponsorship or in the case of a book, the lack of resources of a Traditional Publishing book house to make it happen. iSpirit Publishing we want to change that, and makes it easy. You may support engaging crowdfunding campaigns or launch your own online campaign following super-simple steps and start bringing your dreams to life to publish your book in minutes!
  • What Motivates People to Contribute To A Campaign?
Our iSpirit Book Tribe contributes to campaigns for various reasons. Still, they want to be involved in the campaigns trying to achieve or enjoy the campaign's rewards. Contributing to a project is much more than donating money to someone; it believes someone's dream and makes it possible. It does not matter what the motivation is when giving; participate and help build this world where we live. It's just too good! We believe there are powerful stories to be told. We are a global tribe; we weave our world together through stories.
  • How Much Does it Cost to Participate with iCrowdfund?
Nothing. It's 100% free to create an account or even launch a campaign with us. We only receive if you receive. Moreover, we charge an administrative fee of just 10% of the amount collected, whether your campaign is Flexible or All or Nothing! This is our way of saying: congratulations on your effort! In All or Nothing campaigns that do not reach the goal, we refund all the amount collected to the contributors and do not charge anything to the campaign's creator. Since you do not receive the donation, we think it is fair to not receive our administrative fee. What if you raise more than your goal? We will never increase the percentage of the administrative fee. For Flexible campaigns, the rate remains at 10% regardless of whether you hit the target. We are partners in every way! Click here to learn more about it.
  • What About my Copyright
Do not worry! The campaign creator owns the copyright to its own campaigns, without any participation from contributors or iSpirit Publishing.
  • Is this Crowdfunding only for writers and Artists with a consolidated Image and Reputation?
No. Everyone can use iSpirit Publishing, the iCrowdfunding, and it has beautiful stories from both beginning artists and big names. The important thing is that you organize yourself well, understand your audience, plan communication and worry about doing something that people care about want to engage with.
  • Where does my project’s "money" come from?
It will come from your supporters. Family, friends, fans, and community members you are part of are your most significant contributors. You stir this network, win support and promote the project. Ask your supporters to publicize and recommend your campaign to other people they know so the supporters' circle grows and the campaign receives support. The secret is to build a good project, and plan your campaign well. The rest will be how to direct your dissemination efforts to those who can really be interested in what you are proposing in your crowdfunding campaign.
  • What is the financial characterization for the contributions?
Contributions made through iSpirit Publishing Crowdfunding are not loans or investments. They are classified as a donation, and the rewards can never be classified as a financial return.
  • How to contribute to a campaign?
It's quick and easy! On the campaign page of your choice, just click on "Contribute" or click directly on the reward box of your choice. You can contribute with Stripe, PayPal, or credit card. The minimum amount for your donation is R $ 5.00
  • I'm thinking about launching a iCrowdfund campaign, but I'm afraid of getting burned if my drive doesn't hit the target.
We understand. But here are three important points for you to reflect on. 1) You can choose to do a Flex campaign, where you get the amount collected regardless of having hit the goal. It is important to ensure that you will deliver the project even if you do not reach the goal. 2) Those who plan well, study success stories, and put a lot of energy into the campaign are much more likely to hit the goal. 90% of the projects that reach 25% of the plan in the first week get it. 3) Understand that a campaign that does not match the goal is not a failure. It is an opportunity for you to learn, better understand your audience, and rethink how you communicate. iSpirit has a collaborative model. We are committed to making your dream come through.
  • I want to launch a campaign. What else do I need to know about campaigns?
There are two types of campaigns, "Flexible" and "Everything or Nothing". In "Flexible" mode, the campaign creator keeps the amounts collected even if it does not reach its final goal. In "Everything or Nothing", the creator of the campaign only receives the amounts collected if it reaches or exceeds the established goal, if it does not reach it, the contributions are returned to the contributors. All of our projects have a fundraising objective and specific goals (01 and 120 days), which cannot be changed once submitted. But we do have what we call a "bank of Ideas" full of information to help you launch your campaign and make it a success. We are here with you all the step of the way. It is that simple!
  • What is Assisted Publishing? How can iSpirit help me publish my book?
Assisted Publishing and Hybrid Publishing space are a new modality of Publishing Books. They are ways to think outside the box. Traditional publishing is losing its attraction and becoming less profitable. There are different types, and basically, what differentiates them from the "vanity press model" is that they are more like regular publishing companies but with a unique blueprint. Hybrid Publishing (and some of the Assisted Publishing) maintain an active submissions process. They also control their cover design and editorial process. The payment for the author in Assisted and Hybrid Publishing comes from having more control of the sales and the Royalties. The author may invest in their own work, or perhaps they may be raising money through crowdfunding to finance their work. The Good part is that they keep a considerable share of the profits instead of giving it all away (like traditional publishing).
  • Whatare the services included on your "Assisted Publishing" Modality
The iSpirit "Assisted Publishing" include: ISBN, barcode Professional editing, indexing, and proofreading Specialized design and layout Print production managing. Publicity and Marketing advice The design, production, and retail pricing advice. It includes format and paper quality. Assisted publishing may be a very suitable option if an author cannot take your title on an outright Traditional publication or simply prefer to produce your title themselves. iSpirit Publishing Assisted Publishing division offers aspiring authors the support they need to produce their own masterpieces. • Why do iSpirit Books (Anthology) exist?
    A. In the past few years, much of what we knew as traditional media and publishing have changed dramatically. Although the internet and self-publishing allow everyone to share information, a surplus has been created, much of which isn’t vetted or heard above the cyber noise. iSpirit was born to fulfill this need. We provide real opportunities to share the incredible, heart-expanding, soul-soaring stories of your experiences with Spirit. As a member of Omtimes Authors’ incubator and/or an author in our book anthologies iSpirit Stories, you can join with like-minded souls and let the world know our truth as spiritual beings. We hope you will join us! The most important thing for aspiring writers is for them to give themselves permission to be brave on the page, to write in the presence of fear, to go to those places that you think you can’t write - really that’s exactly what you need to write. Cheryl Strayed
  • How are iSpirit Books (Publishing House) different than other membership sites for aspiring authors and Anthology Series?
    A. We are the new face of an Integrated Conscious Publishing industry; we like to think of ourselves as the evolutionary creative Media. As the work of our souls and in complete integrity, we will work hard to earn your trust and become the new north to spiritual and conscious creators, readers, writers, and authors. There is no such thing as an "aspiring writer". You are a writer. Period. Matthew Reilly
  • What is the iSpirit Book Series Project? And what is the role of OMTimes Media in these Literary Projects?
    A. As the union of a successful media and an Avant-Garde publishing company, we also have the proficiency, the know-how, and expertise to simplify the wearying and never-ending work of editing, publishing, distributing, promoting, and marketing your writings. iSpirit Publishing knows how difficult it is to do this on your own, and we want you to focus on doing what you do best and help you become a powerful creator. Honestly, the essence of publishing hasn't changed. Since the days of the cave man carving stuff on the cave walls, people have wanted stories, and storytellers have wanted an audience. That is still the case. The changes are really a matter of format. Susan Wiggs
  • What are the expectations for your Authors?
We expect that our authors will be as excited about publishing their stories as we are. We expect our authors to act with integrity and follow our submission and payment deadlines. Once the book(s) are published, the expectation is that the authors will work with us to actively share and promote the book series on social media and through email if they have an email list.
  • What are you looking for in your authors?
We believe in undiscovered talents. We intend to help people tell their stories, become authors, and become tomorrow’s best sellers. We believe that’s what they are. Our stories of Spirit are the best stories that have yet to hit the mainstream. Our stories encourage, inform, inspire, and all are written with Spirit’s blessings. There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. Maya Angelou
  • What type of stories is the iSpirit Book Series interested in?
    A. We are interested in your authentic, individual Spiritual and conscious experiences with all manifestations of Spirit. We regard Spirit as the voice that calls to you at night from the deepest part of your soul. It is the song of our ancestors, the songs of Nature, animals, and human dreams, telling their tales and unveiling their more profound knowing. The seasons of life, the rites of passage, the unending weaving of webs, and the gentle waves on the infinite oceans of creation from where all our experiences are harvested to create our stories. Submit your story and pass down the sacred knowledge of this world through the wisdom of storytelling. I think new writers everywhere need opportunities to get published. Greg Egan
  • What is the deadline and process for evaluating the submitted stories?
    A. iSpirit Publishing will announce when author opportunities arise, and submissions are being accepted. We encourage all writers, authors, and storytellers to submit their stories. The world needs to know spiritual experiences are real and our birthright! Once iSpirit Publishing receives your story, we will review and contact you within one month to accept your story for publication. If yes, you will receive the next steps in the publishing process. If your story is not selected, your digital file will be deleted.
  • What are the differences between blogger and writer writing styles?
    A. When you are writing a text for any magazine, you write articles. But when you write in the first person on your website, you are writing blogs. Usually, when you are writing in the first person, you are doing it to share your thoughts and perspectives. But the reality is that the audience doesn’t necessarily relate to personal writing, only if they tacitly feel included in your analysis. Usually, a more impersonal voice would do the trick when writing articles and essays. That is why professional writers prefer to use the 3rd person. It gives an impartial feeling to the writing. It allows who is reading to be relating to the narrative more easily. Of course, the rule above does not work if you are writing a memoir or relating personal stories inside an anthology.
  • Can I publish an independent book with the services that iSpirit provides? I think the Anthology format is not attractive.
    A. You are reading our minds! Our longer-term plans include launching iAuthor, an author Incubator platform associated with OMTimes Plus with expanded publishing opportunities for authors. In the meantime, we encourage you to become a member of the Author’s Incubator community and engage with like-minded souls. Inside our incubator/community, you will develop your skill as a writer and learn the ins and outs of the publishing industry. Also, as a member of our community of writers and authors, you will be the first to hear when iAuthor and other exciting news is announced!
